We’re not very typical (because neither are you)

Family will always be number one.  We have three children who are growing up fast.  It’s really important to me that I’m always there for them, to support and encourage them.  We love to travel with our children, to give them a wide range of experiences and broaden their horizons.  We often travel with friends, nearly all of who have children around the same age.

I have a lot of hobbies I like to find the time for, like photography, home theatre and mountain biking.  I’m also learning to play guitar which is a great way to spend time with the kids who are also learning.

Building our amazing team at Bravium is hugely rewarding for me.  We have so many talented, motivated individuals driving Bravium’s success, and seeing our team thrive is immensely fulfilling.  And together, we get to help our clients fulfil their own “life well lived” ambitions which is the reason I started Bravium all those years ago.

From a young age, I always knew a fulfilling career would involve having meaningful relationships and emotional connections with people.  And I’m passionate about shaking up the industry and redefining what it means to be an adviser.

Relationships are a priority in my personal life too. I love spending time with my partner, our daughter, and our family and friends. People will tell you I have some perfectionism tendencies! I like keeping our home clean and organised with a stocked fridge and pantry which provides me with mental clarity. I also love gardening, growing my own veggies and composting, as well as travelling, reading and Pilates.

My wife, two boys and I can be found camping, surfing, fishing, skateboarding, mountain biking and running around the Northern Rivers on our days off together.

As a former Defence member, I initially struggled to find a cohesive and ethical team in the financial planning profession, however, Bravium has changed all of that for me. This really is my dream gig because I get to support the sharpest minds (and most amazing people) in the profession so that we can provide the best financial advice in Australia.

Understanding the challenges they’ve overcome, the aspirations that drive them, and what makes their lives meaningful. I appreciate hearing about their goals and the essence of what they consider a life well lived.

 From my experience as a professional athlete and confronting my own mortality with a cancer diagnosis, to being a husband to an amazing wife and father to my kind-hearted daughter, energetic son, and with the clan expanding to 5, my life is shaped by love and resilience. I’m passionate about sports, cooking, culture, and the outdoors, and I treasure quality time with my loved ones.

Spending quality time with my son and daughter watching movies, and going to theme parks on the Gold Coast is the time I cherish the most. I have a strong connection to my extended family as well and together we love to go on cruises and enjoy new experiences.

I am passionate about helping others which has grown out of the love I have for my family. Bravium allows me to serve others which gives me great purpose professionally. I have strong problem solving skills and attention to detail, which assists our advisers to drive positive change in our clients lives to help them experience the life they want to live.
